A Castle In The Sky & Bird In The Trees!

Art Nouveau Bird

I haven't shared this project yet but started it months ago and have been working on it between the HAED's.  I wanted a small project to take to an appointment where there was going to be a long waiting time, in order to have something to distract me and keep me occupied!  The pattern is by Stitching Land and it's called "Art Nouveau Bird".  Stitching Land have a website which is where I purchased this pattern but they also have an Etsy Store under the same name.  Their website is: https://stitchingland.store/ . The Art Nouveau styled patterns are gorgeous!  Don't look if you don't want any new starts! 😉

I'm stitching this on a piece of leftover Bellana I had floating around,  2 over 1 full cross.  This is what it will look like finished:
Here are some progress pics:
It's currently 33.20 percent done, with 5881 stitches complete:

Iris Keeper of the Rainbow

I also forgot to post my progress on Iris here last month! I finally have a row finish. There are 88,242 stitches completed, taking it to 32.68% finished.  It was fun working on the castle!

  1. Oh my goodness Megan, the colours on Art Noveau bird look fabulous stitched up. I'm on a no new start or new stash ban this year so I'm going to take your advice and not head over there until 2026. I don't have alot of will power LOL! Iris looks so stunning. Great progress on her.

    1. Thank you Alicia! I understand! It took a lot of willpower to only let one fall in the cart as I had another leftover piece of fabric that would fit another pattern on it! Interested to see what other designs they release in the future though! Thanks for dropping by :) Happy stitching xxx
