Another Diamond Painting Day

Colette (My Mum), Laura (Sister) and I had another diamond painting day the other week.  This gave me a chance to get stuck into the next page of Spirit of Flight. I have to work this top page upside down due to the size.  I've been changing orientation depending on the page location.  There is lots of confetti on this next page!:

On the day, we took an overall picture of Spirit of Flight,  putting it into perspective how big it will be and how much is left to complete!  My Dad is helping hold it and the photo credit goes to Colette!

We're planning another diamond painting day once Laura has time off work for Maternity Leave!

Dandelion Skies

The Butterfly for October is the Dandelion Skies Butterfly.  I wanted to give this months butterfly a bit of a Halloween theme with the colour palette.

  1. That diamond painting is going to be huge Megan. And looks stunning. I can imagine you have to work all around it. I don't think you could leave it haning on the table side?
Enjoy your work. It looks gorgeous

    1. Thank you Nastascha... Yes! I have worked sideways as well as upside down lol! The undone half is currently rolled up on a long tube. The completed part takes up my whole kitchen table, so once I've finished this column i will switch it round and roll the completed part onto the tube first. I didn't want the completed section dangling over the side of the table as the bend is too sharp. I would say this would most likely cause permanent creasing or diamonds popping off! The sharp bend of the table edge is different to the gradual, gentler roll on the tube. For storage purposes, the whole piece can be rolled onto the tube with diamonds facing outwards and there are no issues with that :D
