Orange Pumpkins, Orange Hair…

I’ve been working on the Phelan Chart: “Of Earth, Air, Fire & Water."
Finally I have finished the first page! Her hair has toned down a bit now the surrounding colours are in!

  2. Very nice progress and it is quite orange indeed.. But I think that when you see the work completed it will all fit.
But sometiimes colors can "look a bit scary".

    1. Thanks Natascha! Sometimes there are moments where you're like ok... why am I stitching green into her hair?! (or something bizarre like that)... But yes! It all works out in the end ;)

  3. I am sure the hair won't look as orange when finished!
    Beautiful design and great progress.

    1. Thanks Ingrid! I'm going to continue stitching with page above next.. rather than shift across... So there will be a whole lot of hair on the next page! Looking forward to getting stuck into her wings though :)

  4. It looks great! I'm sure it'll tone down when the rest of the piece gets done.

    1. I love orange hair too Sarah! I've got really dark brown hair that's almost black and often dye it an intense bright red... but it's not noticeable until I'm in the sun either (because I'm starting with such a dark base colour lol)! Lucky you to have gorgeous red/orange hair! :)
