Here is page 21... I put a tape measure in there to reveal the size. The stitched area is actually about 18 inches wide! The length is also about 18 inches at the moment. Next page here we come-bring on the reds!!!
Cat Embroidery Kit This is my first attempt at embroidery from a small kit I was gifted: I really enjoyed doing the lazy daisy stitch! As usual I couldn't resist making changes to some of the colours. I removed the white in the basket for an orange and added an extra pink on the flowers. Happy Stitching! xxx
Art Nouveau Bird I haven't shared this project yet but started it months ago and have been working on it between the HAED's. I wanted a small project to take to an appointment where there was going to be a long waiting time, in order to have something to distract me and keep me occupied! The pattern is by Stitching Land and it's called "Art Nouveau Bird". Stitching Land have a website which is where I purchased this pattern but they also have an Etsy Store under the same name. Their website is: https://stitchingland.store/ . The Art Nouveau styled patterns are gorgeous! Don't look if you don't want any new starts! 😉 I'm stitching this on a piece of leftover Bellana I had floating around, 2 over 1 full cross. This is what it will look like finished: Here are some progress pics: It's currently 33.20 percent done, with 5881 stitches complete: Iris Keeper of the Rainbow I also forgot to post my progress on Iris h...

Even though lines are not meant to form working diagonally, I still felt slightly apprehensive about the possibly of this happening. I figured parking may lessen the risk by helping to even out the tension between squares. Before: After: Although I kind of like the checkerboard effect, overall I didn’t take to this way of stitching and found it more time consuming than my usual preferred cross country method. I didn’t enjoy being confined to working in blocks... Having to stay in the box drove me crazy lol! I did like the fact I wasn’t reaching for floss b...
